This plan is designed for individuals who do not have children, or simply plan to give their assets to their beneficiaries directly, without concern for the beneficiary's age or financial responsibility. It appoints an executor who will settle your estate after you die, and appoints agents who can make decisions about your health and financial affairs if you become incapacitated. These are the four basic parts of a comprehensive estate plan.
The Family Plan
This plan is designed for individuals who have children or other minors who they plan to make their beneficiaries. This package includes a short-term child protection trust, which ends when beneficiaries have attained an age when they have the legal capacity and wisdom to manage their inheritance. It's the essentials plan plus a short-term trust.

The Family Legacy Plan
The most comprehensive plan for individuals with moderate to high net worth who plan to give their assets to beneficiairies directly or with child protection trusts for children or further descendants. This plan includes an advanced will which allows for multiple child protection trusts, charitable gifts, complex provisions, provisions for the care of pets, etc.

This plan is designed for individuals who have remarried and have children from previous relationships. Clients who choose this plan want to ensure that both their partner and their biological child(ren) are provided for in the event of their death. The cost of this plan can vary as there are many solutions for blended families. At our initial planning meeting, you will be provided with an exact quote for this plan.
For reasons of privacy or to protect certain family members, many of our clients prefer a Trust Based Estate Plan. A Trust based Estate Plan typically includes one or more Revocable Living Trusts, which provide increased flexibility in the timing of distributions, increased privacy and added protection for certain beneficiaries. The cost of our Trust-Based Estate Plans range from $1,500 to $4,000, with the typical Trust Based Plan costing approximately $2,000. We can help you determine which kind of plan works best for you and quote you a set price.
This plan includes all the necessary estate planning documents for college-aged, young adults so that they can authorize you, as their parent, to know what’s happening, and make decisions on behalf of your child.

Mobile Service
If you opt for mobile service, there is a one-time fee of $100 for travel within 20 miles of the Village of Midlothian. For travel exceeding 20 miles, there is a fee of $200. This fee covers unlimited trips to and from your location. There is no charge for mileage.
